From 1 July 2019, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark – including all Danish diplomatic missions – have introduced an online payment of the Embassy fee for residence or work applications. The Embassy fee should be paid online using this link.

The receipt for the payment should be submitted at the Embassy, when handing in your R/W permit application or when you are having your biometrics recorded. Please note that there are two fees to be paid:

1) The fee to either the Danish Immigration Service, or to the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) when completing the application form (online).

2) the fee to the Embassy of Denmark (using this link).

When you submit your R/W permit application or have your biometrics recorded at the Embassy, you need to bring with you the following documents:

A valid passport and a valid residence permit (NB! Your passport needs to be valid for at least 3 months after the expiry date of your residence permit). You do not need to leave your passport at the Embassy during the processing of your R/W permit application.

Full colour copy of your passport  every single page, including the empty pages and back and front cover must be copied. The same applies to your residence permit.

Receipt for submitting your application online or supporting documents if submitting the whole application

Receipts for having paid the fees both to the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment and the Embassy of Denmark

Please note that it normally takes 1–3 months before your application is processed, read more here.
